With this end user license agreement, between you and Ascaron Entertainment GmbH, we want to establish a safe and comfortable gaming environment for all users. Ascaron Entertainment GmbH reserves the right to change this agreement at any given time. We do not claim that this list is complete; therefore we reserve ourselves the right to treat individual cases differently.
Among other things, in this code of conduct we will set up a framework of rules that relate to the behavior inside the community, the game and the Sacred2.Net. That also includes the behavior in the lobby (entrance area in the multiplayer mode).
The Sacred2.Net including the community and the high score function is a free of charge, voluntary and extra addition to Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel that can be terminated anytime (even without notice) from the Ascaron Entertainment GmbH. Therefore there is no righteous claim for the usage or provision of this service.
In the high score function, characters from the Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel ClosedNet will be displayed. If you do not want this, you will be given a choice to deactivate this feature partially or completely at the point of registration.
The applicable sanctions in the case of infringement/non-compliance are listed at the end of this agreement.
Infringement against these can lead to a temporary or permanent ban from the game.
In the case of instructions or orders by officials, concerning the game or Sacred2.Net you hereby agree to comply with them.
It is strictly forbidden to use any account names, make statements or behave in a certain way to pretend that you are an employee of Ascaron Entertainment GmbH or an employee of any of the companies which developed or distributed Sacred2 – Fallen Angel or let others believe that this would be the case.
Name giving: The world of Ancaria is a fantasy world in which the naming of your character and account has to follow certain rules. It is our right not to tolerate unsuitable or defamatory names and take actions against them. Measures can include: Change of account and/or character name, a warning for the account owner, a temporary ban and in severe cases a permanent ban.

Account and character names are subject to change (even without notice), if they violate any of the given terms.
Conduct: Please respect the other users and watch your wording.
Defamatory or obscene language will not be tolerated in Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel and will in extreme cases lead to a permanent ban. This also applies to insults, abusive language and continuous (verbal or non-verbal) harassment. Also not tolerated are discussions which go against the law or concern any of the topics listed in point 3.
Any kind of advertisement on the provided services or platforms is strictly forbidden.
Client / Server-Exploitation: It is not allowed to make use of unforeseen bugs and exploits as well as spreading any information about them. The use of any form of cheat tools is forbidden! Also forbidden is the monitoring and analysis of the data stream and any manipulation of the cached data that is created by the game and any of its components. Any violation of this clause will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the game and might have legal consequences.

You are responsible for concealing your account data and obliged to handle such data with care.
If you have any concerns that the data might have fallen into the wrong hands, please contact the Koch Media GmbH support immediately. Your account will then be closed for security reasons until your data has been changed.
